The University of Nottingham Ningbo China is recruiting an Assistant/Associate Professor in Product Design and Innovative Design. The role combines industrial design innovation with engineering applications such as sensors, machine learning, ergonomics, and product development technologies. Responsibilities include leading funded research projects, publishing high-impact work, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, developing curricula, and building industry and academic collaborations. Candidates must hold a PhD in product/industrial/interaction/computational design, ergonomics, or a related discipline, with strong research and teaching experience. The post is offered on a five-year fixed-term contract starting September 2026 or soon thereafter.
