Texas State University’s Department of Management, housed within the AACSB-accredited McCoy College of Business, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Management beginning Fall 2026. This tenure-track role is designed for a scholar committed to impactful research, high-quality teaching, and collegial service as the university advances toward Carnegie R1 classification.
The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s strong research culture by publishing in high-quality peer-reviewed management journals and engaging in ongoing scholarly development. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Resource Management (HRM), taught in both face-to-face and online modalities—including contributions to the college’s expanding Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. Additional expectations include professional, departmental, and university service aligned with Texas State’s strategic research and teaching missions.
The Department of Management is a collaborative and research-active academic home featuring ~30 full-time faculty and serving students across multiple innovative business programs, including the BBA in Management, university-wide Innovation & Entrepreneurship minor, and high-ranking graduate programs.
