Merton College, University of Oxford, invites applications for a Leventis Early Career Researcher Career Development Fellowship in Ancient Greek. The fixed-term position supports innovative research in Ancient Greek studies alongside undergraduate teaching (approximately six tutorial hours per week) and academic pastoral responsibilities within the Classics community. The Fellow will contribute to collaborative research projects and develop as both a researcher and university teacher. Applicants must hold or be near completion of a doctorate in Ancient Greek and demonstrate strong research potential and effective small-group teaching ability. The fellowship runs from October 2026 to September 2030.
