VTT, one of Europe’s leading research organisations, is seeking an experienced Data Management Lead to join the Operational Excellence team within the Microelectronics and Quantum Technology research area in Espoo, Finland. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and coordinating the implementation of scalable, intelligent data systems that support cutting-edge research and innovation from concept development through fabrication and service delivery. This high-impact role focuses on creating future-ready IT infrastructure for a multi-user microelectronics cleanroom environment, where precision, collaboration, security, and data integrity are paramount. You will design tailored data management models, lead processes that ensure data consistency and interoperability, and collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, central IT architects, and external partners. Responsibilities include developing data collection and storage solutions, integrating real-time analytics with laboratory and semiconductor process tools, and supporting strategies for scalable data warehousing. You will contribute to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) planning and ensure alignment with VTT’s broader digital strategy.
