KTH Royal Institute of Technology invites applications for a PhD position in Experimental Fluid Mechanics and Artificial Intelligence. The project investigates multi-scale urban turbulence and gust dynamics through a combination of advanced wind tunnel experiments and machine learning techniques. The research aims to understand fine-scale turbulence mechanisms in urban environments and develop predictive frameworks relevant to drone safety, pedestrian comfort, urban wind energy, and sustainable city planning. The successful candidate will join the Fluid Mechanics Division within the FLOW research community and conduct experimental and data-driven studies in urban fluid dynamics.
