The Institute for Alpine Environment at EURAC Research invites applications for an internship in botany within the project Biodiversity Monitoring South Tyrol (BMS). The Institute conducts applied research on mountain environments, focusing on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and global change. The intern will support botanical and habitat surveys across South Tyrol, assist with fieldwork for other taxonomic groups, and contribute to the digitalization and management of biodiversity data. The position involves extensive fieldwork in alpine environments and the use of GIS tools. The internship offers hands-on research experience, modern facilities, and the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team in Bolzano. Contract for 3 to 6 months (spring – autumn, 2026).
