International Recruitment Manager

The University of Nottingham is seeking an experienced International Recruitment Manager to join the Student Recruitment Team and support ambitious international growth objectives. This role is responsible for leading strategic international student recruitment activity with a primary focus on Turkey, alongside global undergraduate recruitment leadership and coordination of activity in CIS and Europe.

The postholder will develop, implement, and manage effective recruitment strategies to enhance the University’s international reputation, strengthen market presence, and meet student recruitment targets. Working closely with the Regional Head of International Student Recruitment, the role requires strong stakeholder engagement, market intelligence gathering, and the delivery of innovative recruitment initiatives that support prospective students throughout their decision-making journey.

Key responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Designing and delivering international student recruitment strategies with primary focus on Turkey, alongside global undergraduate recruitment leadership.

  • Coordinating activity across CIS and European regions while contributing to wider university recruitment objectives.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with schools, colleges, agents, alumni, and in-country partners.

  • Providing data-driven insights, market intelligence, and recommendations to inform strategic planning.

  • Representing the University at international events, fairs, and stakeholder meetings.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to prospective students and key partners.

  • Working collaboratively across regional recruitment teams and supporting activity in additional markets where needed.

  • Contributing to promotional campaigns, digital recruitment initiatives, and conversion activities.

Travel expectations:

  • Willingness and availability to travel to priority recruitment markets annually.

  • Approximate overseas travel requirement: 12–14 weeks per year.

  • Flexibility to support recruitment needs across multiple regions.
