The University of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Module Lead – International Business (Greenwich Online) to contribute to the continued expansion of its high-quality online education provision. This role supports the University’s ambitious 2030 Strategy, “This is Our Time,” which prioritises flexible, inclusive, and innovative online learning.
Module Leaders play a vital role in the success of Greenwich Online. Reporting to the Programme Lead, the postholder will take responsibility for the academic design, delivery, and quality assurance of an International Business module within an online programme. The substantive appointment for this role is Lecturer in International Business.
Key responsibilities and expectations include:

Designing, developing, and delivering a high-quality online International Business module aligned with programme aims and academic standards.

Maintaining academic coherence, relevance, and currency of module content to meet student and industry expectations.

Leading the student learning experience, ensuring engagement, motivation, and academic success in an online environment.

Monitoring and enhancing module quality in line with quality assurance, regulatory, and policy requirements in higher education.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across Greenwich Online and the wider University to deliver effective and engaging online learning.

Contributing to continuous improvement of online pedagogy, assessment design, and student support.

Acting as an academic and motivational leader for students and colleagues involved in module delivery.
About the successful candidate:

Subject expertise in International Business or a closely related discipline.

Experience in programme or module design within higher education.

Previous teaching experience in fully online or blended programmes (desirable).

Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and policy expectations in UK higher education.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
