The Music and Audio Research Laboratory at NYU Steinhardt seeks a Part-Time Associate Research Scientist to support the development of an automated tool for assessing music therapy sessions in collaboration with the Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy. The researcher will curate and manage a database of video-recorded music therapy sessions, identify relevant documentation, label session content, and create descriptive metadata. Additional responsibilities include reviewing outputs from the assessment tool and evaluating their relevance to clinical outcomes. The position is primarily remote, with limited on-site work required, and does not include supervisory duties.
