TU Delft is offering a PhD position to develop innovative, human-centered technologies to improve soundscapes in neonatal and paediatric intensive care units. The project focuses on designing a digital soundscape assessment platform that empowers nurses to actively shape their acoustic environment using data-centric and participatory design approaches. Hosted within the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, the research combines human-computer interaction, data visualization, machine learning and co-creation to enhance patient safety and nurse wellbeing in healthcare settings.
