Monash University is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship in Advanced Composite Repairs at the Clayton campus. The project aims to develop a novel resin-injection hybrid repair concept to restore the structural integrity of damaged composite aircraft components. The research focuses on fundamental materials and mechanical engineering science to enable certification of repairs for primary aerospace structures. The successful candidate will work within a high-performance research group in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and contribute to developing innovative repair technologies for advanced composite materials used in aircraft. 3 years (full-time)
