The Department of Social Anthropology invites applications for two PhD positions within the doctoral programme in Social Anthropology. The programme combines 60 ECTS of advanced coursework with a 180-credit dissertation, providing rigorous theoretical and methodological training for independent ethnographic research. Candidates will develop original research projects, apply critical anthropological analysis, and gain experience in teaching and academic service (up to 20%). The position is fully funded for four years and based in Stockholm, with a start date of 1 September 2026.
