DTU Electro is offering a Postdoc position in Topological Photonics within the Quantum and Nanophotonics Section. The research focuses on symmetry-guided discovery of novel photonic topological phenomena, combining topological band theory, symmetry analysis, and group theory. The Postdoc will conduct analytical and computational research, develop theoretical frameworks, implement shared code tools, and explore new photonic topologies including non-Hermitian, time-periodic, magnetic, and non-crystalline systems. The role includes collaboration with international partners, including MIT, and supervision of MSc and PhD students in a cutting-edge theoretical photonics environment.
