Postdoctoral in marine population genomics

The Department of Marine Sciences invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Marine Population Genomics. The project focuses on the brown seaweed Fucus vesiculosus, a foundation species in the Baltic Sea, to investigate somatic mutations and local adaptation across environmental gradients. The postdoc will lead whole-genome sequencing data analyses and contribute to fieldwork, laboratory work, and collaborative research. The role involves bioinformatic analyses, manuscript preparation, seminars, and supervision of students, within an internationally recognized marine research environment at the Tjärnö Marine Laboratory.
