The Department of Anatomy at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) invites applications for a three-year Postdoctoral Teaching & Research Fellow position beginning July 1, 2026. This role is based at the Old Westbury campus and combines teaching human gross anatomy to osteopathic medical students with independent and collaborative research alongside the department’s faculty. The Anatomy Department includes active research in palaeontology, evolution, development, functional morphology, biomechanics, and neurosensory anatomy. The successful candidate will also have access to extensive facilities including a Visualization Center with a micro-CT scanner, fresh tissue histology lab, embryology lab, confocal microscopy, and human and animal gait laboratories, as well as the Center for Biomedical Innovation with robotics, VR/AR, and 3D printing resources. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent); prior experience with clinically oriented human anatomy is desirable but not required.
