Fixed-term Project Researcher positions at ISSP for experimental or theoretical condensed matter physics research. Appointees will pursue independent research under the supervision of an ISSP faculty member and may be assigned to Kashiwa, Tokai, Sayo, or Sendai campuses. Applicants must hold or be near completion of a Ph.D. within five years, not hold another employment or enrollment, and secure approval from a host faculty member for their research plan. The two-year contracts begin between September and November 2026, with a 14-day probation. Positions include annual leave, insurance, and are governed by UTokyo salary rules.
