Technische Universität Berlin invites applications for a 0.9-time Postdoctoral Research Associate within the DFG research unit “InterDent FOR2804,” focusing on the materials science of dental interzones. The project investigates adhesion mechanisms inside root canals and aims to identify parameters influencing failure in composite–root–dentine systems. Responsibilities include finite element simulations, optical strain measurements, residual stress analysis, and micro-/nanoindentation experiments. The candidate will collaborate with dental partners in Berlin, Halle, and Amsterdam, contribute to high-impact publications, and present findings internationally.
