Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) seeks a researcher to design and implement LLM-based agent systems for structuring and processing materials science data at the Institute of Nanotechnology (INT). The role involves developing semantic architectures (ontologies, knowledge graphs, RDF/SPARQL), integrating large language models with databases and simulation data, and ensuring data provenance, reproducibility, and traceability. Responsibilities include software development (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript), scientific evaluation, and publication in international journals and conferences. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in computer science, materials science, data science, or related fields with strong expertise in LLM systems and structured data processing.
