The University of Copenhagen invites applications for up to three Group Leader positions (Associate Professor or Professor level) at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. The positions focus on interdisciplinary research in cardiometabolic health and disease, including human genomics, molecular epidemiology, precision medicine for type 2 diabetes, and molecular mechanisms of cardiometabolic disorders. Successful candidates will lead independent research groups, contribute to collaborative research programs, supervise researchers and students, and participate in research-based teaching. The Center provides substantial core funding and access to cutting-edge genomics, metabolomics, and data analytics platforms.
